IZI Demo: Try the Platform Before You Buy

IZI does not have a separate demo environment with pre-filled test data. Instead, every new organization gets a trial: a full account on the live platform with no feature restrictions. You work in the real system from day one — your tariffs, your staff, your clients. Everything you configure during the trial persists when you move to a paid plan. No credit card is required to start. You can track the remaining days in Organization → Billing inside the CRM, where each module in Trial status shows a color-coded progress bar. If you want to see the platform with an expert before setting it up yourself, email support@izi.is and the IZI team will run a personalized walkthrough.

The trial is not a restricted preview. From the first day, the entire platform is available:

Running real sessions with actual clients during the trial is possible and recommended. Live traffic reveals how the system behaves under the specific conditions of your club in a way that scripted demos cannot.

How to Read the Billing Section During the Trial

Section titled “How to Read the Billing Section During the Trial”

Open Organization → Billing. The page is split into two sections: Connected and Available to connect.

Each activated module displays its current status. Modules in trial show:

  • A Trial badge next to the module name.
  • The line “Trial — free” instead of a price.
  • A progress bar labelled “N days of trial remaining” with a percentage of time used. The bar color shifts: green → yellow (around 40% remaining) → red (last ~15%).
  • The label “After: X / month” — the module’s price once the trial ends.

Seven days before the trial expires, the system displays a warning banner at the top of the Billing page.

This section lists modules that have not been activated yet. Each shows its trial length in the format “Trial N days free” and the price after. To activate a module, click Connect — it moves to the Connected section in Trial status and starts its own countdown from day one.

Each module has an independent trial period. Connecting an additional module midway through your main trial gives you a full trial for that module, starting fresh.

At the bottom of the Billing page you will find a Next invoice breakdown block. It splits the upcoming period into two segments:

  • Trial · N days — the free portion, amount 0.
  • N days — the paid portion after the trial ends, with the amount shown.

This lets you see exactly what you will be charged — and for what — before any payment is processed.

The CRM header and Billing page show the current organization status. Statuses change automatically according to system rules:

StatusMeaning
TrialAll modules are in trial; no payment has occurred yet
ActiveSubscription is paid and running normally
UnpaidInvoice was not paid by the due date
BlockedActive operations are disabled after extended non-payment
ArchivedFinal status; access is fully closed

When the trial converts to a paid plan, the status changes from Trial to Active immediately after payment. If no payment is made, status becomes Unpaid, then Blocked nine days after the payment due date. Data is not deleted at any stage; access is restored the moment payment is received.

The trial is the right time to complete the club launch checklist and arrive at a working hall before the first paid period begins.

Days 1–2. Set up the core structure: zones, connected devices, and baseline tariffs. Without this, no session can be opened.

Days 3–5. Add your team — roles, permissions, and staff profiles. Open and close a test shift to confirm the cashier cycle is clear to your staff.

Days 6–10. Run live shifts. Check analytics on real data: hall utilization by hour, revenue by tariff, average transaction size.

Remaining trial days. Configure top-up bonuses once the basic economics of your club are clear. Decide whether additional modules are needed — connect them now to get a full independent trial for each.

All settings, client records, session history, and transactions carry over unchanged when you move to a paid plan.

To upgrade: Organization → Billing → Link card or Top up balance.

On the billing date the system first draws from the organization’s internal balance, then charges the remaining amount to the linked card. Topping up the balance in advance is convenient if you want to delay linking a card.

Frequently asked questions

Does IZI have a demo environment with test data?

There is no separate demo sandbox. IZI provides a trial — a full account on the live platform with your own data. This is better than a demo: you see the system under the real load of your club, not a pre-scripted scenario.

Do I need a credit card to start the trial?

No. Payment details are only required when you choose to move to a paid plan. Starting a trial requires no card and no upfront payment.

Where can I see how many trial days are left?

In the CRM, go to Organization → Billing. In the Connected section, each module in Trial status shows a progress bar labelled 'N days of trial remaining' along with the percentage of time used.

What happens 7 days before the trial ends?

The system shows a warning automatically. The trial progress bar changes color from green to yellow, then to red as the deadline approaches. The organization owner also receives a notification by email.

Can I work with real clients during the trial?

Yes. The trial is a fully operational environment, not an isolated sandbox. You can run the cashier, open and close shifts, build up analytics, and serve real players. All data is preserved when you move to a paid plan.

What happens if I do not pay after the trial?

The organization moves to Unpaid status. Nine days after the payment due date without payment, it transitions to Blocked — active operations become unavailable. Data is not deleted. Access is restored immediately after payment.

Will my club settings be preserved after upgrading to a paid plan?

Yes. Everything configured during the trial — zones, tariffs, staff, client base — stays intact. Nothing needs to be migrated or set up again.

Can I connect additional modules during the trial?

Yes. In Billing → Available to connect you will see modules not yet activated. Each module has its own independent trial period. Click Connect — the module moves to Trial status and starts counting its own days from zero.

How do I see the subscription cost after the trial ends?

In Organization → Billing, each module in Trial status shows the label 'After: X / month'. The invoice preview at the bottom of the page breaks down the trial (free) portion and the paid portion of the upcoming period.

Can the trial be extended?

The trial does not extend automatically. Extension requests are reviewed by the IZI team individually — reach out via the in-CRM support chat before the trial expires.

How do I request a guided tour of the platform?

Write to the support chat inside the CRM or email support@izi.is. The IZI team will run a live online walkthrough tailored to your club: hall management, cashier cycle, analytics, and the bonus system.

What is Trial status in the CRM and how does it differ from Active?

Trial means the subscription is running but the paid period has not started yet — it is the free evaluation window. Active means the subscription has been paid and is operating normally. Both statuses give full access to the platform.
