Section titled “Owner Registration in IZI”To start using IZI, you complete three steps: enter your email → verify it with a one-time code → create an organization. The whole process takes 3–5 minutes. Once done, you land directly in the working environment and can add your first club, set up zones, and configure tariffs.
Your owner account is tied to a single email address and acts as your entry point to every organization and club you have access to. One account can manage any number of organizations and clubs.
Step 1. Enter your email and select your country
Section titled “Step 1. Enter your email and select your country”Open the IZI CRM at x.izi.is. The first screen — Personal Account – IZI — shows two fields:
- Select country — a searchable dropdown. The country sets regional defaults: currency, phone format, and available payment methods.
- Email address — your business email. This is where the confirmation code will be sent, and it becomes your permanent login.
Click Continue. IZI instantly checks whether that email already has an account. If yes, you’ll see the login form. If no, the sign-up form opens.
Step 2. Fill in the registration form
Section titled “Step 2. Fill in the registration form”On the CREATE ACCOUNT screen, fill in four fields:

Click Sign Up. If the email is already registered, you’ll see an error — go back and use the login form instead.
Password requirements
Section titled “Password requirements”Passwords must be between 8 and 72 characters. There are no mandatory uppercase, number, or special-character rules. Passwords are stored as a bcrypt hash (10 rounds) — IZI never stores them in plain text.
Step 3. Verify your email
Section titled “Step 3. Verify your email”After a successful sign-up, a one-time confirmation code (OTP) is sent to the email you provided.
Key details:
- The code is valid for 5 minutes
- You can request a resend — the system tells you how many seconds to wait before the next attempt (
retryAfterSeconds) - If the email hasn’t arrived within 2 minutes, check your Spam folder
Enter the code on the verification screen. Once the code is accepted, your email is marked as verified (emailVerifiedAt is set on the first successful entry) and you are automatically logged in.
Passwordless login (email OTP)
Section titled “Passwordless login (email OTP)”If you already have an account and prefer not to use a password, enter your email on the first screen → Continue → choose Sign in with code. A new one-time code is sent to your email. This is useful if you’ve forgotten your password or are signing in from an unfamiliar device.
After your first OTP login, IZI may offer you a prompt to set a password — this is optional and only speeds up future logins.
Step 4. Create an organization
Section titled “Step 4. Create an organization”After login, IZI redirects you to the ORGANIZATION – Create your organization screen. This step is mandatory: without an organization you cannot add clubs, configure tariffs, or invite staff.
Fill in one field:
- Organization name — any name for your network or location. It is visible only to you and your staff inside the CRM; your club’s customers never see it. You can rename it later in Settings.
Click Create.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”You arrive in the IZI workspace. The organization exists, but it has no clubs yet. The next step is to add your first club.
If you already belong to other organizations (for example, you accepted an invitation from another owner), the Back button returns you to the organization list rather than logging you out.
Signing in to an existing account
Section titled “Signing in to an existing account”If your account already exists, enter your email on the first screen → Continue. IZI detects the account and shows the login form. Two methods are available:
- Password — enter your password → Sign in
- Email code — click Sign in with code → a one-time code is sent → enter the code
If your email was never confirmed, IZI will prompt you to complete the verification step before granting access.
Frequently asked questions
Section titled “Frequently asked questions”Can I register with a corporate email address? Yes. Any valid email works — corporate addresses behave identically to personal ones.
What if I entered the wrong email during sign-up? If you haven’t yet confirmed the email, go back and restart with the correct address. An incomplete registration on a wrong address does not block a new attempt with the right one.
Can one email manage multiple organizations? Yes. A single account can own or be invited into multiple organizations and switch between them inside the CRM.
Do staff members need a separate registration? Staff register through the same form but gain access to a club only after the owner sends them an invitation — see adding staff.
What if I lose access to my registered email? Contact IZI support. Changing the email tied to an account requires identity verification through the support team.
What comes next
Section titled “What comes next”After registration and organization creation, the typical setup sequence is:
- Create your first club — name, address, basic settings
- Set up zones — divide the floor plan into zones (PC, console, VR, etc.)
- Create your first tariff — hourly or session-based pricing
- Add staff — cashiers, administrators, managers

Frequently asked questions
Where do I start the registration process in IZI?
Open the IZI CRM at x.izi.is, enter your email address, and select your country. The system immediately checks whether the email already exists — if it does, you'll see the login form; if not, the registration form appears.
What information is required to create an owner account?
You need an email address, your name, a phone number, and a password (minimum 8 characters). All four fields are required during initial sign-up.
Do I need to verify my email after signing up?
Yes. After you submit the registration form, IZI sends a one-time confirmation code to your email. The code is valid for 5 minutes. Once you enter it successfully, your account is activated.
Can I log in without a password?
Yes. IZI supports passwordless login via an email code (OTP). On the login screen, choose 'Sign in with code' — a one-time access code will be sent to your email.
What is an organization in IZI and why do I need one?
An organization is the top level of the IZI structure: it groups one or more clubs under shared management. You cannot add a club, configure tariffs, or invite staff without first creating an organization.
Can I manage multiple clubs from a single account?
Yes. One owner account can hold multiple organizations, each containing multiple clubs. Switching between them takes a few clicks inside the CRM.
What should I do if the confirmation code email never arrived?
Check your Spam folder first. If it's not there, go back to the email entry step and request a new code. The system rate-limits re-sends to prevent abuse.
Can I change my email or password later?
Your email is tied to your account and serves as your login. Your password can be changed in Profile Settings after you log in. If you signed up or logged in with an OTP code and never set a password, IZI will prompt you to create one after your first login.
What does the 'Set a password' prompt mean after my first login?
If you registered or logged in via an email code without a password, IZI offers to set a permanent password for faster future logins. This is optional — you can continue using the email code method.
How long does the full registration take?
From filling in the form to having your first club ready to configure: about 3–5 minutes — roughly 1 minute for the registration form, 1 minute for email verification, and 1 minute to create the organization.
