How to Add a Zone-Based Tariff in IZI

Published: · IZI Team

A zone-based tariff is one tariff with different prices per area of your club. Clients see one “Standard 1 hour” but if they’re in the VIP zone, they pay more. This monetizes premium seats without creating dozens of separate tariffs.

  • Zones created in the Zones section (VIP, Pro, Standard or your custom names)
  • Devices assigned to zones

If zones aren’t set up yet — set up hall zones first.

Sidebar → TariffsAdd tariff button.

  • Tariff name — what the admin sees when opening a session. Example: “1 hour”, “Night”, “Multipass 10h”
  • Tariff group — for grouping in the interface (optional)
  • Description — internal note

Choose how the tariff expires:

  • Expires after X hours of use — classic hourly tariff
  • Expires X days after purchase — for package tariffs
  • Expires after X uses — for multipass

Scroll down to the “Prices by zone” block. It shows all your club zones.

Enter a price for each zone:

ZonePrice
Standard8
Pro12
VIP18

If no price is set for a zone — the tariff is unavailable in that zone. This lets you create a “VIP only” tariff — just fill in the VIP price and leave others empty.

Step 5 — Configure Additional Parameters

Section titled “Step 5 — Configure Additional Parameters”
  • Refund policy — what happens to unused tariff balance when a session ends: keep, return to bonus, or burn
  • Maximum bonus percentage — what share of the tariff price can be paid with bonuses
  • Schedule — hours when the tariff is available (for night tariffs)

Click Save. The tariff appears in the list.

Verify: open a session on a device from different zones and confirm the correct prices are shown.

Night tariff for Standard zone only:

  • Fill in price only for Standard zone
  • Set a schedule (e.g., 22:00–10:00)

VIP surcharge across all tariffs:

  • For each base tariff, set VIP zone price at 50–80% above Standard
  • No need to create separate “VIP versions”

Multipass for a specific zone:

  • Tariff type: “Expires after X uses”
  • Price only for the target zone

What is a zone-based tariff in IZI? A tariff with different prices per zone. One “1 hour” tariff can cost 8 in Standard and 18 in VIP.

Do I need a separate tariff for each zone? No. One tariff handles all zones via the “Prices by zone” block.

What needs to be set up before zone tariffs? Zones must be created and devices assigned to zones. Without that, zone pricing doesn’t work.

Can I make a tariff available in only one zone? Yes. Fill in a price only for that zone — the tariff won’t appear in others.

How do I verify a zone tariff is working? Open a session on a device in the relevant zone — the correct zone price should appear in the tariff list.
