Configure Club Settings in IZI: Full Guide
Configure Club Settings in IZI: Step-by-Step Guide
Section titled “Configure Club Settings in IZI: Step-by-Step Guide”The club card in IZI is more than a profile form. The club name, currency, and time zone directly affect how tariffs calculate prices, how shift reports record time boundaries, and how analytics aggregate daily totals. An incorrect time zone shifts day boundaries in every report; a missing currency blocks saving; an empty map pin breaks in-app navigation for players. This page covers which fields are required, what each one controls, and where to find them in the CRM.
Club settings are split across two screens: Basic Data (name, contacts, location, currency, time zone, schedule) and Media (cover image and interior photos). A separate Maximum Fulfillment Time parameter lives inside the club’s own Settings menu rather than in the edit form. Because all configuration is stored at the individual club level, each location in a multi-club network is configured independently.
Where to Find Club Settings
Section titled “Where to Find Club Settings”- Log in to the CRM and go to Organization → Clubs.
- Find the club in the list and click the edit button (pencil icon).
- A modal window Edit Club opens with two steps: Basic Data and Media.
If you are creating a new club, the field order is identical — the modal title reads Create Club instead.
Step 1 — Basic Data
Section titled “Step 1 — Basic Data”Club Name
Section titled “Club Name”Club Name is required, up to 100 characters. It appears in the CRM, in the client app, and across all reports. Use the name players already recognize.
Phone is required. Enter in international format including the country code (for example, +971501234567). Used for contact from the client app and for internal notifications.
Map Location
Section titled “Map Location”Map Location is required. Click on the map to place a pin, or use the geolocation button to detect coordinates automatically. Coordinates drive navigation in the client app — a text address alone is not enough.
Country
Section titled “Country”Country is required and selected manually from a list. The country is not inferred from the map pin. Choose the correct value: it affects phone number validation logic and may be used as a filter in analytics.
City is required, up to 100 characters. Used in the club card and in network-level reports.
Address and Address Hint
Section titled “Address and Address Hint”| Field | Required | Max length | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Address | Yes | 200 characters | Street and building — primary address |
| Address Hint | No | 200 characters | Clarification for players: “entrance from the courtyard”, “3rd floor” |
The hint appears next to the address in the client app. Use it when the entrance to your club is not obvious — it reduces “how do I find you?” calls.
Currency
Section titled “Currency”Currency is required and selected from a list. It defines the monetary unit for all tariffs, transactions, and reports for this club. IZI supports multiple clubs with different currencies within one organization — for example, one club billed in dirhams, another in tenge.
You can change the currency at any time, but if the club already has transaction history, that history will continue to display in the original currency.
Time Zone
Section titled “Time Zone”Time Zone is required, selected from a grouped list (Europe, Asia, Americas, etc.). It controls two things:
- Day boundaries in analytics — the “today” report counts by the club’s local time, not UTC.
- Shift open and close timestamps — recorded in the club’s local time zone.
Clubs in the same city share the same time zone. When comparing clubs across regions, IZI automatically applies each club’s own time zone.
Schedule and Description
Section titled “Schedule and Description”Both fields are optional:
- Schedule (up to 200 characters) — free text, for example “Mon–Fri 10:00–23:00, Sat–Sun 10:00–24:00”. Shown in the club card.
- Description (up to 500 characters) — additional information for players.
Step 2 — Media Files
Section titled “Step 2 — Media Files”The second step of the form is for club images.
| Field | Format | Recommended size | Count |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cover | JPG, PNG, WEBP | 350×290 px | 1 |
| Interior photos | JPG, PNG, WEBP | 350×290 px | Multiple |
The cover is the primary image shown in lists and the club card. Interior photos convey the atmosphere of the hall. High-quality photos improve conversion when players book sessions online.
Maximum Fulfillment Time
Section titled “Maximum Fulfillment Time”This parameter is not part of the club edit form. Find it inside the club itself: open the club, then go to Settings in the club’s side menu (not in the Organization-level club list).
Maximum Fulfillment Time (minutes) sets an SLA for bar orders. Here is how it works:
- A player places a bar order.
- A staff member accepts it in the CRM.
- If the order is not marked as fulfilled within the configured time, it is flagged as overdue.
- Overdue orders are highlighted in the control center and included in reports.
The value is a whole number of minutes. If the field is left empty, there is no automatic timeout.
A reasonable starting point is 10–20 minutes for most club formats; the right value depends on your hall size and bar load.
First-Time Setup Checklist
Section titled “First-Time Setup Checklist”- Open Organization → Clubs → click Create Club.
- Fill in all required fields in step 1: name, phone, country, city, address, currency, time zone, and map pin.
- Click Next and upload a cover image and interior photos.
- Click Save — the club appears in the list with a “Club created” confirmation.
- Enter the club → Settings → set Maximum Fulfillment Time if you use the bar module.
- Create your first tariff — sessions cannot be started without at least one active tariff.
- Open the first shift.
Common Setup Mistakes
Section titled “Common Setup Mistakes”Map pin not placed. The form will not save and shows “Map location is required.” Make sure the marker is positioned at the correct address.
Country and time zone do not match. The system allows any combination, but a mismatch corrupts analytics. Verify that the time zone matches the club’s actual location.
Wrong phone format. IZI validates the phone number against the country code. If you see “Phone number is incomplete or invalid,” check the international format for your country (country code + number, no spaces or brackets).
Currency field empty. This field is required; the Save button remains disabled until it is filled.
Once the club card is saved, the next steps are configuring tariffs and opening the first shift. For clubs with multiple locations, see network comparison analytics.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find club settings in IZI?
Go to Organization → Clubs and click the edit button (pencil icon) next to the club you want to configure.
Can I change the club's currency after it has been created?
Yes, through the club edit form. Changing the currency on a club that already has transaction history is not recommended — it affects how historical analytics are displayed.
Why does the time zone matter?
The time zone defines day boundaries for analytics and shifts. Without the correct time zone, daily reports shift relative to the club's real working day.
What is the Address Hint field?
An optional clarification for players — for example 'entrance from the courtyard' or '3rd floor, elevator on the right'. It appears next to the address in the client app.
What does Maximum Fulfillment Time (minutes) do?
It sets an SLA for bar order fulfillment. If an order is not marked as fulfilled within the specified time, it is flagged as overdue — visible in the control center and reports.
Why do I need a map pin if I already have a text address?
Geo-coordinates are used for navigation in the client app. The text address and the map pin are two independent fields; both are required.
