How to Find Your Club's Average Top-Up Amount in IZI
How to Find Your Club’s Average Top-Up Amount in IZI
Section titled “How to Find Your Club’s Average Top-Up Amount in IZI”Average top-up is the baseline for your top-up bonus ladder. It’s the average amount a client adds to their gaming balance in a single top-up transaction. Without this number you can’t set ladder thresholds correctly.
Don’t confuse it with AOV — they measure different things.
Step 1 — Open Bonus Analytics
Section titled “Step 1 — Open Bonus Analytics”In the sidebar: Analytics → Top-up Bonuses section.
If this section isn’t visible, the bonus program isn’t activated. Enable it in club settings and data will start accumulating.
Step 2 — Set 30-Day Period
Section titled “Step 2 — Set 30-Day Period”Set the filter to the last 30 days. This is the optimal baseline window.
Step 3 — Find “Average Top-Up”
Section titled “Step 3 — Find “Average Top-Up””Look for the “Average top-up” KPI card on the dashboard. This is the arithmetic mean of all top-up transactions in the selected period.
Step 4 — Remove Outliers
Section titled “Step 4 — Remove Outliers”The average gets pulled up by large top-ups:
- Team bookings — one client tops up for the whole group
- Corporate events
- Large one-off purchases (e.g., annual multipass)
How to clean: deselect irregular tariffs in the tariff filter. Compare the result to the median — if the mean is more than 1.5× the median, outliers are present.
Cleaned average top-up = your baseline for the ladder.
Step 5 — Record and Apply
Section titled “Step 5 — Record and Apply”Use the baseline to set ladder thresholds:
- Tier 1 = baseline × 1.3 (just above current average)
- Tier 2 = baseline × 2.5–3.0
- Tier 3 = baseline × 5–6
Full ladder methodology in the top-up bonus playbook.
Average Top-Up vs AOV
Section titled “Average Top-Up vs AOV”A client might top up 500 once a week and spend 150 per session. Then:
- Average top-up = 500
- AOV (spend per visit) ≈ 150
These are two different levers: average top-up controls the bonus ladder, AOV drives upsell scenarios during a session.
Related Guides
Section titled “Related Guides”Where do I find average top-up in IZI? Analytics → Top-up Bonuses → “Average top-up” card. Use the last 30 days.
How is average top-up different from AOV? AOV is spend per visit. Average top-up is the amount added per top-up transaction. One number doesn’t replace the other.
Why do I need average top-up? It’s the baseline for your bonus ladder. Tier 1 is set slightly above the current average to encourage adding a bit more.
What if average top-up is unstable? Check for outliers — team and large one-off top-ups push the mean up. Filter by tariff and recalculate.
How often should I recalculate the baseline? Monthly, or after major tariff or promotion changes. If baseline shifts 20%+, revisit your ladder thresholds.
