Tariff Zones Reference

Published: · Updated: (12 days ago)· IZI Team

In IZI, a single tariff can run across multiple club zones at different prices. This is handled through the usage policy — a block that defines where and when a tariff is available, and what it costs. Inside each usage policy you select zones and set a price per zone. A zone you do not select stays unavailable for that tariff: players on devices in that zone will not see it at the cashier. A price of 0 is valid and means the tariff is free in that zone. One tariff supports several usage policies tied to different schedules, which lets you set morning, daytime, and night prices per zone — all within a single tariff object.

Open CRM → Club → Tariffs, create a new tariff or open an existing one for editing. Inside the modal, scroll to the Usage Policy and Prices section — it appears after the expiration conditions and sales policy blocks.

Each usage policy contains three groups of settings:

FieldRequiredWhat it controls
Start scheduleRequiredThe time window during which the tariff can be activated
Additional completion scheduleOptionalAllows a session to end outside the main start window
Zone pricesRequired (≥ 1 zone)List of zones and the price for each

One tariff can contain multiple such blocks, each on a different schedule — a single schedule cannot be reused across policies in the same tariff. This gives flexibility: weekday prices in one policy, weekend prices in another, all under the same tariff object.

Step 1. Create zones first. Before setting up a tariff, make sure zones exist in CRM → Club → Halls and Zones (see zone setup). If no zones exist, the zone selector in the tariff displays a message asking you to create them first.

Step 2. Add a usage policy. In the Usage Policy and Prices section, click Add usage policy. The system automatically selects the first unassigned schedule.

Step 3. Choose a start schedule. Select the time window during which players can activate this tariff. Each schedule can be assigned to only one policy per tariff, which prevents price conflicts when two policies could otherwise apply simultaneously.

Step 4. Select zones and set prices. Click the Zone prices dropdown and check the zones to include. A row appears for each selected zone. Enter a price for each: minimum is 0 (free), negative values are not accepted, the field is required for every zone you select. Zones not added to the list remain unavailable for this tariff under this schedule.

Step 5. Set an additional completion schedule if needed. Use this optional field when players should be able to finish a session after the main start window closes — for example, a daytime tariff that allows finishing past 22:00. Note that 24/7 schedules cannot be selected here, as they have no end boundary.

Step 6. Save. IZI validates that each policy has at least one zone and that all prices are valid. If something is missing, the system highlights the specific field with an error message.

Click Add usage policy again — the button remains active as long as unused schedules exist. A typical two-policy setup:

PolicyScheduleStandard zoneVIP zone
FirstDayPrice APrice B
SecondNightPrice CPrice D

Each policy is fully independent: zones, prices, and the additional completion schedule are set separately for each.

How zones, schedules, and sales policy relate

Section titled “How zones, schedules, and sales policy relate”

Zone prices are one part of the tariff setup. For a tariff to appear at the cashier, a sales policy must also be configured — it controls when and through which channels the tariff can be purchased. The usage policy controls when and where it can be started after purchase.

Schedules are a shared resource: create them once and reuse them across multiple tariffs and policies. When you change a schedule’s hours, every tariff referencing it updates automatically.

Blank cells mean the tariff is not available in that zone — achieved by not adding that zone to the usage policy.

“You must select at least one zone” — a usage policy was added but no zones were included. Select at least one zone and enter its price.

“All prices must be greater than or equal to 0” — one or more price fields are empty or negative. Fill in all fields; 0 is valid.

“At least one usage policy is required” — a tariff cannot be saved without at least one policy. Click Add usage policy and fill it in.

The “Add usage policy” button is inactive — all existing schedules are already assigned to policies in this tariff. Create a new schedule or remove an existing policy to free up a slot.

Zone prices in IZI solve one problem: one tariff, different conditions for different segments of the floor. Standard seats, a VIP section, an esports arena — each zone gets its own price without requiring a separate tariff object per case. Select zones, enter prices, attach a start schedule, and the tariff works correctly in every zone with the right amount.

Frequently asked questions

What are zone prices inside a tariff?

Zone prices live inside a usage policy block on the tariff. For each zone you select, you set a price. Zones you leave out are unavailable for that tariff — players on devices in those zones simply cannot start it.

Can the same tariff have different prices for weekdays and weekends?

Yes. Add a second usage policy with a different start schedule and set its own zone prices. Each policy is fully independent, so you get different rates by time of day or day of week — all inside one tariff object.

What does a price of 0 mean for a zone?

A price of 0 means the tariff is free in that zone. Zero is a valid value and the zone remains active for the tariff. Negative values are not accepted.

What happens if I don't select a zone in the usage policy?

The tariff becomes unavailable for that zone. Players on devices assigned to it will not see the tariff at the cashier.

How many zones can I add to one usage policy?

There is no limit on the number of zones per policy. You can include all zones in the club or any subset.

Is it mandatory to set a price for every selected zone?

Yes. Every selected zone must have a price greater than or equal to 0. IZI will not save the policy if any price field is empty or negative.

Can one tariff have multiple usage policies?

Yes. A single tariff can contain several usage policies, each tied to a different start schedule. This lets you define different pricing conditions for different times of day or days of the week.

What is the start schedule in a usage policy?

The start schedule defines when players can activate the tariff. For example, a Day schedule allows starting only during daytime hours, a Night schedule only after a certain hour. Each schedule can be assigned to only one policy per tariff, which prevents price conflicts.

What is the additional completion schedule?

An optional field that lets a session finish outside the main start schedule window. For example, a tariff that starts under a Day schedule can still end after that window closes, if an additional completion schedule is set. Note that 24/7 schedules (no time boundaries) are not available in this field.

Do I need to create zones before configuring a tariff?

Yes. Zones are created separately in Settings — Halls and Zones. If no zones exist, the zone selector inside the tariff will show a message that no zones are available and prompt you to create them first.

How do I change the price for a zone on an existing tariff?

Open the tariff for editing, scroll to the Usage Policy and Prices section, find the relevant policy, and update the price next to the zone.

Can different policies in one tariff cover different zones?

Yes. Each usage policy has its own zone list and prices. One policy can cover only Standard zones, another only VIP — inside the same tariff.
