Email Verification in IZI
Email Verification in IZI
Section titled “Email Verification in IZI”To access the CRM and start managing your gaming club, you must verify your email — it is a required step during owner registration. IZI sends a 6-digit OTP code to the address you provide. You enter that code in the Verify your account form and the account is confirmed. The code is valid for 5 minutes and allows 3 entry attempts. If the code is wrong or expired, click Resend Code to generate a new one. After successful verification, IZI issues an access token and opens the CRM; if you have not set a password yet, the system immediately prompts you to do so — so future logins do not require waiting for an email. The whole process typically takes under a minute with normal mail delivery.
Step-by-step: how email verification works
Section titled “Step-by-step: how email verification works”Step 1 — Enter your email
Section titled “Step 1 — Enter your email”Open the CRM login page and type your email address into the Email address field, then click Continue.
IZI checks whether an account with that address already exists:
- Account found — you can choose to log in with a password or receive a code.
- Account not found — the Create account form opens (name, phone, password).
Step 2 — Request the code
Section titled “Step 2 — Request the code”If you choose code-based login (or are registering for the first time), IZI sends an email to your address. The Verify your account form appears with six input cells.
At this point:
- An email with a 6-digit code and a clickable link is sent.
- A 5-minute countdown starts — that is how long the code remains valid.
- The Resend Code button is temporarily inactive until the minimum wait period has passed.
Step 3 — Enter the code
Section titled “Step 3 — Enter the code”Type the 6 digits from the email into the form. The cursor jumps between cells automatically. Once the last digit is entered, IZI validates the code immediately — no extra button press needed.
Alternatively, click the link in the email. The code is filled in automatically and you are logged in without any manual entry.
Step 4 — Access granted
Section titled “Step 4 — Access granted”On successful verification:
- The email is marked as verified in the system.
- An access token is issued.
- The CRM opens on the organization selection screen.
- If no password has been set, IZI offers you to create one (8–72 characters).
Resend limits and cooldown timers
Section titled “Resend limits and cooldown timers”The Resend Code button enforces increasing wait times to protect against accidental repeated requests:
| Request attempt | Minimum wait before next |
|---|---|
| 1st (initial send) | no wait |
| 2nd | 30 seconds |
| 3rd | 1 minute |
| 4th | 1 minute |
| 5th and beyond | 5 minutes |
The countdown is shown directly in the button label: Resend Code: 00:30. When it reaches zero, the button becomes active again.
Password login after verification
Section titled “Password login after verification”Once your email has been verified at least once, you can sign in with a password on future visits — no email wait required. This is faster for daily use.
If you have not yet set a password, IZI will prompt you to do so right after your first successful code login. A password must be between 8 and 72 characters.

Common reasons the email does not arrive
Section titled “Common reasons the email does not arrive”Landed in spam. This is the most frequent cause. Check your Spam or Junk Mail folder. If the email is there, mark it as “Not spam” so future IZI emails reach your inbox.
Typo in the address. Go back to the first step with the Back button and re-enter your email carefully. A single incorrect character is enough to misdirect the message.
Delay on the mail provider side. Occasionally emails are delivered with a 1–3 minute delay. Wait a moment before clicking Resend Code.
Corporate mail filters. Some enterprise email systems block automated messages. Try a personal email address instead, or ask your IT team to whitelist the IZI sender domain.
Next steps after verification
Section titled “Next steps after verification”After verifying your email and entering the CRM, the next step is creating an organization — it groups one or more clubs under unified management. If you were invited to an existing organization, see the staff invitation guide.
For a full onboarding path, work through the 15-minute quick-start checklist — it shows the recommended order for configuring your club after first login.
Frequently asked questions
Why does IZI require email verification?
Email verification ties the account to a real owner and unlocks password-based login. Without verification, access to the CRM is blocked.
How long is the verification code?
6 digits. The code is valid for 5 minutes from the moment it is sent. If it expires, click Resend Code to generate a new one.
How many attempts do I get to enter the code?
3 attempts per code. Once all attempts are used, request a new code using the Resend Code button.
How long do I have to wait before requesting a new code?
First request — no wait. Second — 30 seconds. Third and fourth — 1 minute each. Fifth and beyond — 5 minutes. A countdown timer is shown directly in the form.
The email didn't arrive — what should I do?
Check your Spam or Junk folder. Make sure the address you entered is correct. If it is correct, wait 1–2 minutes and click Resend Code.
Can I log in with a password before verifying my email?
No. Password login becomes available only after the email has been verified at least once via code. Until then, only code-based login is possible.
The email contains a link — can I click it instead of typing the code?
Yes. The email contains both a 6-digit code for manual entry and a clickable link. Clicking the link fills the code automatically and logs you in without manual typing.
What happens after successful verification?
The system records the verification date, issues an access token, and opens the CRM. If no password has been set yet, IZI will prompt you to create one.
How does IZI determine whether an account exists?
On the first step (the Email address field) the system checks for an existing account. If found — you are offered login options. If not — the Create account form opens.
What does 'Set a password' mean after logging in with a code?
If you have never set a password, after your first code login IZI will offer you to create one. This lets you sign in faster in the future without waiting for an email.
Can I change my email after registration?
Yes, via your profile settings. After changing the address, you will need to verify the new one again with a code.
Does email verification work in the IZI mobile app?
Code-based verification applies to CRM login (the web management interface). The player-facing mobile app uses a separate authentication flow.
