How to Add a Device to Your IZI Club
How to Add a Device to Your IZI Club
Section titled “How to Add a Device to Your IZI Club”A device in IZI is any piece of hardware on your floor — a gaming PC, a PlayStation or Xbox console, a VR rig, or any other terminal. Once registered, every device becomes an accounting point for sessions and revenue, giving you a complete picture of utilization across the floor. For Windows PCs you install the IZI agent, which reports the machine’s online status, client version, and connectivity state in real time. For non-Windows hardware (consoles, VR headsets, and similar equipment) you choose the Custom type — no agent required, the device simply exists in the CRM as a bookable unit. The whole process for a PC takes three steps: download the installer → run it on the machine → enter the authorization code. After that the computer appears in your floor list and you can assign it to a zone, apply tariffs, and start opening sessions on it right away.
Device Types
Section titled “Device Types”| Type | What it covers | IZI agent required |
|---|---|---|
| PC | Gaming computer running Windows | Yes |
| Custom | PlayStation, Xbox, VR, any non-Windows terminal | No |
| POD | Off-site mobile post with its own address | Yes |
PC is the standard choice for a computer gaming floor. Custom covers console zones. POD is a specialized type for mobile locations with geolocation tracking; its setup is outside the scope of this guide.
Adding a PC (type PC)
Section titled “Adding a PC (type PC)”Step 1 — Download the IZI installer
Section titled “Step 1 — Download the IZI installer”- Open the CRM and go to the Devices section of your club.
- Click Add Device in the top-right corner.
- The dialog opens with PC selected by default.
- Click Download IZI Installer — the installer file begins downloading.
Supported operating systems:
- Windows 10 Pro (x64)

Step 2 — Install the agent on the PC
Section titled “Step 2 — Install the agent on the PC”Transfer the installer to the target computer (via USB drive, network share, or shared folder) and run it. During installation the agent sets up the IZI Client service, which automatically connects to your club’s server every time the machine starts.
Step 3 — Authorize the device
Section titled “Step 3 — Authorize the device”When installation finishes the agent displays a prompt asking for an authorization code.
- Switch back to the CRM — the Add Device dialog is still open.
- Click Generate Code.
- A six-digit code in the format
123-456appears in the CRM. The code is valid for 4 hours. - Enter this code in the agent on the PC.
- The agent pairs the computer with your club and it appears in the device list.
If the code expires or does not work, click Generate Again — a fresh code is issued immediately.
Adding a Console or VR Headset (type Custom)
Section titled “Adding a Console or VR Headset (type Custom)”Non-Windows devices (PlayStation, Xbox, VR headsets, etc.) are added manually without installing an agent.
- Open Add Device and switch to the Custom tab.
- Enter a Device Name — digits only, up to 3 characters (for example:
1,12,101). The name must be unique within the club. - Optionally select a Zone from the dropdown.
- Click Save — the device appears in the list.
Sessions on Custom devices are opened manually from the CRM; online status is not tracked automatically.
