Connecting Your First Device to IZI

Devices in IZI are the seats clients pay for — PCs, consoles, simulators. Each device needs to be registered in the system before it can be used in a session.

Step 1 — Download the IZI Client Installer

On the gaming PC you want to connect:

  1. In the CRM: Settings → Devices → Download agent
  2. Download the installer for Windows
  3. Run the installer on the gaming PC

The IZI client (IZI agent) is the background agent that:

  • Identifies the PC to your IZI account
  • Starts and ends sessions based on CRM commands
  • Locks the PC when the balance runs out or the session ends

After installation, the IZI client opens a login screen on the gaming PC. Enter your club code (found in CRM → Settings → Devices → Club Code) — not your owner password.

The device registers itself in your club automatically.

Back in the CRM: Settings → Devices — you will see the newly connected PC with a default name (usually the computer’s hostname).

Click the device to:

  • Set a display name (e.g., “PC-01”, “Zone A Seat 3”)
  • Assign it to a zone
  • Set a default tariff for this device

From the CRM dashboard, click on the device → Start Test Session. The PC should unlock and start a session. End it from the CRM — the PC locks again.

If the test session does not start, check:

  • IZI client is running (visible in Windows tray)
  • The PC has internet access
  • The club code was entered correctly during setup

Repeat Steps 1–3 for each gaming PC. For bulk setup (10+ PCs), there is a silent installer option — contact IZI support for the configuration file.

Frequently asked questions

What software needs to be installed on each gaming PC?

The IZI client (IZI agent) — installed via the IZI client installer. It connects each PC to your club's IZI account, controls session start/stop, and enforces tariff limits. Download the installer from your IZI dashboard under Settings → Devices → Download agent.

Can I connect consoles (PlayStation, Xbox) to IZI?

Yes. Consoles connect as devices in IZI without the IZI client installer. Instead, the administrator manually starts and ends sessions from the CRM. Tariff billing works the same way.

How many devices can I connect?

No hard limit. The number of simultaneous active sessions may be limited by your IZI plan. Check Settings → Billing for your current limits.
