Devices in IZI CRM
Devices in IZI CRM
Section titled “Devices in IZI CRM”A device in IZI is any gaming PC, console, or other piece of equipment registered under Equipment → Devices. Each device gets a unique numeric ID, a UUID (a hardware identifier that ties the physical machine to its CRM record), and is assigned to a hall zone — a segment that shares equipment tier and pricing. Only registered devices appear in the Control Center, participate in sessions, and count toward hall utilization reports. You add a PC to the system through a step-by-step pairing process.
What you see in the device list
Section titled “What you see in the device list”Each row in Equipment → Devices shows:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Numeric ID — unique within the club |
| Zone | The hall zone this device belongs to |
| UUID | Hardware identifier generated at registration |
| Type | Equipment type (PC, console, etc.) |
| Version | Installed IZI client version |
The list can be filtered by name, zone, and device type.
Zone assignment and pricing
Section titled “Zone assignment and pricing”Zone is the key attribute of a device. When an admin opens a session, they pick a specific PC; IZI reads its zone and automatically applies the matching tariff rate. This means one tariff can carry different rates for Standard, Pro, and VIP equipment without creating separate tariff entries.
You can reassign a device to a different zone at any time — pricing for new sessions changes immediately.
Archiving devices
Section titled “Archiving devices”When a PC is retired, you archive it rather than delete it. An archived device:
- disappears from the Control Center and no longer accepts new sessions;
- retains its history — past sessions and revenue remain in reports;
- can be unarchived if the machine returns to service.
Why this matters for club owners
Section titled “Why this matters for club owners”Accurate device records directly affect two core metrics:
- Hall utilization is calculated as the share of time devices were actually in use. A miscounted or wrongly archived device skews the denominator and makes the report misleading.
- Zone pricing only works when devices are assigned to the correct zones. A misassigned device means a VIP machine sold at Standard rates.

Frequently asked questions
What is a device in IZI?
A device is any gaming PC, console, or other piece of equipment registered under Equipment → Devices in IZI CRM. Each device gets a unique numeric ID, a UUID, and is assigned to a hall zone. Only registered devices appear in the Control Center, participate in sessions, and show up in utilization reports.
How do I add a PC to IZI?
In IZI CRM go to Equipment → Devices, click Add Device, download the installer, and generate a 6-digit pairing code. Run the installer on the PC, enter the code and device number, and select a zone. After a reboot the PC appears in the device list.
What is a device UUID?
A UUID is the unique identifier IZI generates when you create a device record. You enter it during client installation on the physical PC. It links that specific machine in the hall to its CRM record, so IZI always knows which seat is which.
Can I move a device to a different zone?
Yes. Open the device in Equipment → Devices and change the zone assignment. The change takes effect immediately and applies to all new sessions opened on that PC.
