How to Set Up Loyalty Tiers in IZI
How to Set Up Loyalty Tiers in IZI
Section titled “How to Set Up Loyalty Tiers in IZI”Loyalty tiers turn one-time visitors into regulars: clients see their progress, aim for the next tier, and visit more often. You control exactly what each tier unlocks.
Before Setup — Define Your Structure
Section titled “Before Setup — Define Your Structure”Answer three questions:
-
How many tiers? Recommended: 3–4 — base (all new clients) + 2–3 achievable ones.
-
Advancement condition — what clients need to do to move up:
- Total top-ups over a period (most common)
- Number of visits
- Combination of both
-
Privileges per tier — what clients receive:
- Higher bonus percentage on top-ups
- Discount on specific tariff categories
- Access to restricted tariffs (e.g., VIP zone only for Gold+)
Parametric threshold approach: tier 2 threshold = average top-up × 5–8 (per month). Tier 3 = average top-up × 15–20. This drives advancement without making it feel impossible.
Step 1 — Open Loyalty Settings
Section titled “Step 1 — Open Loyalty Settings”Sidebar → Clients → Loyalty Program.
If this section is unavailable, check role permissions or contact support to activate the module.
Step 2 — Create Tiers
Section titled “Step 2 — Create Tiers”Click Add tier. For each tier:
- Name — what clients see (“Silver”, “Gold”, “VIP” or your custom names)
- Icon / color — visual differentiation
- Entry threshold — minimum cumulative top-up amount to reach this tier
Create all tiers in order from base to maximum.
Step 3 — Set Privileges for Each Tier
Section titled “Step 3 — Set Privileges for Each Tier”For each tier, open Privileges:
Top-up bonus percentage: Set the bonus percentage for this tier. It overrides the base percentage from the bonus program. Higher tier = higher percentage.
Illustrative example by tier:
- Base: 5%
- Silver: 8%
- Gold: 12%
- VIP: 18%
Tariff access: Restrict specific tariffs to certain tiers only. For example, the night VIP tariff — Gold and above only.
Discounts: Fixed discount on a tariff category or bar purchases for this tier.
Step 4 — Set Tier Maintenance Policy
Section titled “Step 4 — Set Tier Maintenance Policy”Choose:
- Permanent tier — clients reach it and keep it forever (recommended to start)
- Activity-based — clients must maintain activity over a period or get downgraded
Permanent tiers are recommended for most clubs — downgrading causes frustration and hurts retention.
Step 5 — Check the Client View
Section titled “Step 5 — Check the Client View”In the IZI mobile app, clients see:
- Current tier with icon
- Progress to next tier (how much more to top up)
- Available privileges
Verify this via a test account.
What to Do With Existing Clients
Section titled “What to Do With Existing Clients”When launching a loyalty program, you already have a client base. Options:
- Assign tiers manually — for VIP clients you know personally
- Recalculate from top-up history — IZI can assign tiers based on historical data
- Start fresh — everyone starts at base, tiers earned from new activity only
Recommended: identify your top 10–20% most active clients and assign them a high tier at launch — they’ll immediately feel the value of the program.
