Player Groups and Tariff Access

Published: · IZI Team

Player groups let you create different tariff access tiers for different client segments — students get discounted rates, VIP clients see premium tariffs, corporate accounts get invoiced packages.

A group is a tag on a client’s account. Tariffs and discount rules can be restricted to specific groups, making them invisible to everyone else at the cashier or in the mobile app.

GroupTypical use
StudentDiscounted daytime rates with ID verification
VIPPremium tariffs, higher bonus percentages
CorporateInvoiced access, bulk hour packages
StaffInternal use — free or discounted sessions for employees
RegularDefault group for returning clients with no special status

In the tariff’s Sales policy block you can restrict which groups can purchase it:

  • All clients — the tariff appears at the cashier for any client.
  • Specific groups only — only clients with those group tags see the tariff. The cashier interface hides it for everyone else.

This lets you maintain separate tariff grids: a public grid visible to all, and a restricted grid visible only to VIP or corporate accounts.

Groups also tie into the discounts system. A discount rule can target a specific group — for example, 20% off all daytime tariffs for the Student group. The discount applies automatically at the cashier when a client with that group tag makes a purchase.

  1. Open Clients in the CRM sidebar.
  2. Find the client and open their card.
  3. Edit the Groups field — add or remove group tags.
  4. Save.

For bulk assignment — use the client list, filter by segment (e.g. visit frequency, registration date), select all, and apply a group tag via batch action.

Frequently asked questions

What is a player group in IZI?

A player group is a tag applied to a client's account that controls which tariffs they can access and what discounts apply. Common groups: Student, VIP, Corporate, Staff.

Can a client belong to multiple groups?

Yes. A client can have multiple group tags. The tariff availability and discount rules of all assigned groups apply simultaneously.

Where do I assign a client to a group?

In Settings → Clients, open the client card and edit the Groups field. You can also assign groups in bulk via the client list filters.

Can a tariff be visible only to a specific group?

Yes. In the tariff settings, use the Sales policy block to restrict availability by client group. Clients not in the group won't see that tariff at the cashier.
