Creating a Tariff in IZI
Creating a Tariff in IZI
Section titled “Creating a Tariff in IZI”Create tariffs in Tariffs in the CRM sidebar: click Add tariff, fill in the name, set expiration rules, configure per-zone prices, set availability schedule, choose the refund policy, and save. The tariff is immediately available at the cashier within its scheduled window.
For a conceptual overview of the tariff system — Tariff basics.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Zones must already be configured — without them the Prices by Zone block is empty. How to add zones → Zone setup.
If you plan to tie the tariff to a schedule (night tariff, weekday-only) — create the schedule first or use the built-in Always option. More on schedules → Tariff schedules.
Required role: Owner or Administrator with club settings permission.
Step 1. Open Tariffs
Section titled “Step 1. Open Tariffs”In the CRM sidebar choose your club, then Tariffs. Click Add tariff.
Step 2. Name and description
Section titled “Step 2. Name and description”Tariff name — required. This is what staff see at the cashier when selling. Be specific: “Night unlimited”, “2 hours VIP”, “Student daytime”.
Tariff description — optional. Use for internal notes: promo conditions, target audience.
Tariff group — optional. Groups tariffs in the cashier UI. Useful for large catalogs.
Step 3. Expiration rules
Section titled “Step 3. Expiration rules”The Tariff expiration rules block defines when the tariff stops being valid. Choose one or more conditions:
| Condition | When to use |
|---|---|
| Expires X days after purchase | Subscriptions, deadline promotions |
| Expires X days after first use | ”Activate and use” packages |
| Expires after X hours of play | Hour-bundle packages |
| Expires after X sessions | Multipass — N sessions |
| Expires on a fixed date | Seasonal promotions |
If multiple conditions are set — the tariff expires when the first condition is reached.
Step 4. Per-zone prices
Section titled “Step 4. Per-zone prices”In the Prices by Zone block, set a price separately for each zone (Standard, VIP, Pro). Leave a zone blank to exclude this tariff from the cashier for that zone.
One “2 hours” tariff with 200 for Standard and 320 for VIP — no need for two separate tariffs. More on zone pricing → Zone pricing.
Step 5. Schedule
Section titled “Step 5. Schedule”The Schedule block has two sub-options:
- Start schedule — which days and hours the tariff is available for sale and activation. Select an existing schedule or leave Always for 24/7 availability.
- Extra finish window — optional. Gives players a buffer after the main schedule ends. For example, a night tariff ends at 07:00 but players in an active session can continue until 08:00.
More on schedules → Tariff schedules in IZI.
Step 6. Sales and usage policy
Section titled “Step 6. Sales and usage policy”Sales policy — which channels can sell this tariff:
- CRM cashier — sold by staff manually.
- Kiosk — self-service terminal in the club.
- IZI mobile app — purchased by the player independently.
Usage policy — activation restrictions:
- Limit activation to specific channels.
- Restrict simultaneous use of multiple tariffs by one player.
Step 7. Refund policy
Section titled “Step 7. Refund policy”Refund policy — what happens to unused time when a session is manually ended by staff:
- Keep balance — unused time stays on the tariff; the player can continue later.
- Convert to bonus — unused time is proportionally converted to bonus balance.
- Burn — unused time is cancelled.
Use “Keep balance” for flexibility. Use “Burn” for promotional tariffs where leftover time is undesirable.
Max bonus percentage — how much of the tariff price the player can pay using their bonus balance.
Step 8. Save and verify
Section titled “Step 8. Save and verify”Click Save. The tariff appears in the Tariffs list. Check:
- The tariff shows correct per-zone prices.
- The schedule is set correctly — the tariff is active at the intended times.
- The tariff is visible to staff at the cashier when the relevant zone is selected.
If the tariff doesn’t appear at the cashier — check the schedule: the current time may fall outside the configured window.
What’s next
Section titled “What’s next”- Build your full tariff grid (daytime, night, weekend, multipass) — Tariff basics.
- Set up discounts by player group (students, VIP, corporate) — Discounts.
- Review tariff sales in Analytics in the CRM sidebar.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate tariff for each zone?
No. One tariff covers all zones — set a separate price for each zone in Prices by Zone. A zone with no price set simply won't show this tariff at the cashier.
How do I restrict a tariff to night hours only?
In the Schedule block, attach a schedule with the time window you need — for example 23:00–07:00. The tariff will only be available for sale during those hours.
Can I change the refund policy after the tariff has already been sold?
Yes. The refund policy is editable at any time. Changes apply to new session endings — tariffs already active on player accounts continue under the old rules until they expire.
Can I edit a tariff after it's been sold?
Yes. Edits apply to new sales — existing tariffs already purchased by players stay on the original terms.
What is a tariff group?
Tariff groups cluster tariffs in the cashier interface — for example 'Daytime', 'Night', 'Student'. Useful when you have more than ten tariffs.
