Shared Rates Across a Gaming Club Network
Shared Rates Across a Gaming Club Network
Section titled “Shared Rates Across a Gaming Club Network”In IZI, rates are configured at each club’s level — there is no central sync. This gives flexibility: different network clubs can have different pricing for different audiences. The network manager’s task is to maintain consistency where it’s needed and document intentional differences.
Approach: Template + Per-Club Overrides
Section titled “Approach: Template + Per-Club Overrides”Optimal structure for a network:
Base template — a unified rate set that is the starting point for all clubs. Documented outside IZI (Google Doc, Notion, network wiki).
Per-club overrides — intentional differences at a specific club from the template. Recorded explicitly: “South Club — daytime rate is 10% below base due to student audience.”
This approach solves two problems: (1) accidental rate drift when “someone changed it once and forgot,” (2) inability to quickly understand why clubs have different rates.
Recommended Base Rate Set Structure
Section titled “Recommended Base Rate Set Structure”| Rate | Description | When used |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Main rate, standard zone seats | Most sessions |
| Pro | Zone with better equipment | Pro seats |
| VIP | Premium zone or booths | VIP seats |
| Daytime | Reduced rate on weekdays 10:00–17:00 | Off-peak utilisation |
| Night | Reduced rate at night | Night segment |
| Weekend | Premium rate or standard | Fri–Sun |
| Multipass | Hour package | Subscription |

How to Document the Rate Template
Section titled “How to Document the Rate Template”Create a “Network Rate Policy” document with a table:
| Rate | Base price | Club A | Club B | Club C |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | £10/hr | = base | -10% | +20% |
| Pro | £15/hr | = base | no zone | = base |
| Night | £7/hr | = base | = base | N/A |
”= base” means matches the template. Differences are recorded explicitly. When the base template changes — you can see which clubs need updating.
Synchronising Rate Changes
Section titled “Synchronising Rate Changes”When updating the network rate policy:
- Update the base template document
- Determine which clubs should receive the change (all or only those with ”= base”)
- Update rates at each relevant club by switching in the CRM
- Verify billing calculates correctly (test session)
Common mistake: change a rate at one club and forget to update others. A month later you discover clubs are running different rates for no apparent reason.
Special Case: Clubs in Different Currencies
Section titled “Special Case: Clubs in Different Currencies”If the network has clubs in different countries with different currencies — the base template should use units (not specific currency amounts): “standard = local_market_AOV × 0.8.” Each club applies the formula to their own market.

Frequently asked questions
Do rates sync automatically between network clubs?
No. Rates in IZI are configured per club. For synchronisation, maintain a documented template (Google Doc, Notion) and manually apply changes to each club when updating.
Do all network clubs need to have the same rates?
Not required. If clubs are in different cities or price segments — rates may differ. What's important is that the client base and loyalty programme remain unified. Rates are a per-club setting.
Does the client see rates for different clubs in one app?
In the IZI mobile app, the client sees the rates for the club they are at or have selected. When switching to another network club — they see that club's rates.
How do you quickly copy a rate from one club to another?
There is no automatic copying. Open the rate in the first club, note the parameters, create an equivalent rate in the second club manually. Takes 5–10 minutes per rate.
