Frequently asked questions
Why does a club need a Telegram channel if there's already Instagram?
Telegram and Instagram solve different tasks. Instagram is for attracting new clients through algorithms. Telegram is for retention: subscribed clients see every promotion announcement without algorithmic filtering. A channel has no 3–5% reach cap like Instagram — every subscriber sees every message.
How to get the first subscribers?
Three approaches that work: 1) QR code at the register and waiting area with an offer 'subscribe and get a deposit bonus'; 2) mention the channel during every new client registration; 3) first post with a giveaway for reposts.
How often to post in the club channel?
Optimally 3–5 posts per week: tournament schedule, promo announcement, one entertainment post (meme, tournament result, photo of the floor). More than 7 posts per week — the audience starts unsubscribing.
Do you need a bot or is just a channel enough?
A channel is enough to start. A bot is needed when you want to accept tournament registrations, seat bookings, or run surveys directly in Telegram. That's the next stage after the channel reaches 200+ active subscribers.
