Frequently asked questions
How many days in advance to announce a tournament?
Minimum 5–7 days. This gives participants time to adjust plans and form a team. For major tournaments with prize pools above 5000 — 14 days ahead. A second reminder announcement — 1–2 days before start.
How to get participants for the first tournament if the channel is small?
Three approaches: 1) Announce directly in the club floor — admin offers every regular client during their visit; 2) Post in local city groups on social media; 3) Lower the entry barrier — a first tournament with 8 participants is better than a cancelled one.
What to do if not enough participants signed up?
Don't cancel. Reformat: 'instead of a tournament — open training session with prizes.' Clients appreciate that you adapt rather than cancel. The experience of running even a small tournament is more valuable than cancellation.
