Creating a PS Tariff (Console Zone) in IZI CRM
Creating a PS Tariff (Console Zone) in IZI CRM
Section titled “Creating a PS Tariff (Console Zone) in IZI CRM”A PS tariff in IZI uses the same mechanism as a PC tariff with one key difference: it is linked to the console zone in the hall. To create a PS tariff: verify the console zone is created in club settings → go to “Tariffs” → create a tariff with the required price and conditions → in the pricing settings, specify the console zone. The tariff will appear at the register and allow sessions to start only on devices in that zone.
What you’ll need before starting
Section titled “What you’ll need before starting”- A console zone created in club settings. If no zone exists — first set up the hall structure. Without a zone, a tariff can be created but cannot be linked to specific devices.
- Owner or Administrator role with “Club settings” permission.
- A pricing decision for the console zone: console hours are typically more expensive than PC due to hardware cost and game licenses.
Step 1. Open the Tariffs section
Section titled “Step 1. Open the Tariffs section”Left CRM menu → the relevant club → “Tariffs” section → click “Add tariff.”
Step 2. Name the tariff and select a group
Section titled “Step 2. Name the tariff and select a group”Name — use a format the cashier understands instantly: “PS 1h,” “PlayStation 2h,” “PS VIP 3h.” If the club has multiple console generations (PS4, PS5) — add the generation: “PS5 1h.”
Tariff group — create a separate “Consoles” or “PlayStation” group so they don’t mix with PC tariffs at the register. Especially important in clubs with a large tariff set — the cashier finds the right one quickly.
Step 3. Set the price accounting for zones
Section titled “Step 3. Set the price accounting for zones”A console tariff almost always needs zone pricing. In the price block:
- Enable the “Zone pricing” toggle.
- In the fields that appear, enter the price for the console zone. The PC zone will have a different price or zero (if the tariff is for PS only).
If the club has multiple console types in different zones (PS4 zone and PS5 zone) — set different prices for each. One “PlayStation” tariff at the register will correctly apply the price based on the actual seat.
If only one console zone exists with no subdivisions — a single price in the “Tariff price” field is sufficient; “Zone pricing” is not required.
Step 4. Configure the expiration condition
Section titled “Step 4. Configure the expiration condition”For a PS tariff, the same conditions as PC are available:
- “Expires after X hours of gaming time” — standard for hourly console tariffs.
- “Number of sessions: N” — for per-session billing (one start = one match). Useful for rhythm games, fighting games, co-op matches with fixed duration.
- The “hours + days from purchase” combination — if you want to limit how long a purchased tariff is valid.
For a standard “PS 1h / 2h” tariff — simply “X hours of gaming time.”
Step 5. Refund policy and bonus percentage
Section titled “Step 5. Refund policy and bonus percentage”Refund policy: for console tariffs, “Keep remainder” is recommended — the client leaves early and the remaining time is preserved. This reduces conflicts when a specific console has a technical issue.
Maximum bonus percentage: PS tariffs typically have a higher cost base (hardware depreciation, games), so the bonus percentage is often lower than for PCs. Guide: 0–20% for standard console tariffs.
Step 6. Schedule (if the console zone has different hours)
Section titled “Step 6. Schedule (if the console zone has different hours)”If the console hall opens later than the main hall or closes earlier — create a separate schedule and attach it only to PS tariffs. PC tariffs won’t be affected.
In the tariff’s sales policy, select the required schedule. If the console zone operates the same hours as the rest of the club — no schedule is needed.
Step 7. Save and verify
Section titled “Step 7. Save and verify”Click “Save” and run the checklist:
Verification checklist:
- Tariff visible at the register in the “Consoles” / “PlayStation” group
- Console zone price applies correctly
- When starting a session — only console zone devices are available
- Time deducts correctly in the test session
- If a schedule is set — tariff visible only during the correct hours
Console zone specifics in IZI
Section titled “Console zone specifics in IZI”A few specific situations worth considering during setup:
Maintenance breaks: if a console goes into a system or game update — consider pausing the session. In IZI, the operator can move a device to a technical status; a running session is not interrupted by the timer in this case, but this depends on the club’s configuration.
Multiplayer matches: if multiple players sit at one console (co-op), they are processed as one session on one device. If each pays separately — each is assigned a separate tariff on the same device. Check with IZI support which scenario applies to your configuration.
Different content types: if one player wants only FIFA and another wants an open-world game with long sessions — there are no content restrictions at the tariff level. Managing available games is at the device and profile level, not the tariff level.

Frequently asked questions
How does a PS tariff differ from a PC tariff in settings?
Technically — nothing significant at the IZI CRM level. The difference is the zone assignment: the PS tariff is linked to the console zone the administrator created in hall settings. The register grouping and price are usually different — consoles are typically priced higher than PCs. The setup logic (expiration condition, refund policy) is identical.
Can I have different prices for PS4 and PS5 in one club?
Yes. Create separate zones for PS4 and PS5 in hall settings, then enable 'Zone pricing' in the tariff and set different prices for each. One tariff at the register — the correct price applied based on the actual device.
Does the console zone need a separate schedule?
Depends on the console hall's operating hours. If the PS zone opens later than PCs or closes earlier, create a separate sales schedule and attach it only to PS tariffs. PC tariffs won't be affected.
How do I set up per-session billing for PS (not hourly)?
Create a tariff with the expiration condition 'Number of sessions: 1.' The client buys '1 session,' clicks Start — the counter records one session. At end, the tariff closes. Useful for games with a fixed round duration.
Can PS tariffs be restricted to specific devices?
In IZI, a tariff is linked to a zone, and a zone to devices. All devices in the console zone accept the PS tariff. For restricting individual devices within a zone — consult IZI support about hall structure configuration.
