Creating a PC Tariff in IZI CRM: Step by Step
Creating a PC Tariff in IZI CRM: Step by Step
Section titled “Creating a PC Tariff in IZI CRM: Step by Step”To create an hourly PC tariff in IZI CRM, go to the Tariffs section of the relevant club, click “Add tariff,” fill in the name, price, expiration condition, and refund policy. A minimally viable tariff takes 5–10 minutes to create. Additional settings — zones, schedule, bonus percentage — are added as needed.
What you’ll need before starting
Section titled “What you’ll need before starting”- Owner or Administrator role with “Club settings” permission in IZI CRM.
- A created club with at least one zone (if you plan zone-based pricing).
- Answers to three questions: what is the hourly price, how many hours does one package sell for, and what happens to the remainder if the client leaves early.
If you haven’t decided on pricing yet — start with Pricing strategy: peak / off-peak / night.
Step 1. Open the Tariffs section
Section titled “Step 1. Open the Tariffs section”In the left CRM menu, select the relevant club. Go to the “Tariffs” section. You’ll see the list of existing tariffs and an “Add tariff” button.
Click “Add tariff”. The new tariff card opens.
Step 2. Fill in the name and group
Section titled “Step 2. Fill in the name and group”Tariff name — what the cashier and client see. Make it clear: “Day 2h,” “Evening 3h,” “Standard 1h.” Avoid technical abbreviations — the cashier should instantly understand what they’re selling.
Tariff group — a visual category in the register interface. Create groups in advance or assign an existing one: “Day,” “Night,” “Weekend.” The group doesn’t affect tariff logic, only display.
Description — optional field, visible in the IZI mobile app. If the tariff has special conditions (e.g. students only), note it here.
Step 3. Set the price
Section titled “Step 3. Set the price”In the “Tariff price” field, enter the cost of one package in your currency.
If the hall is divided into zones with different prices — enable the “Zone pricing” toggle. Fields for each zone appear: Standard, Pro, VIP. Enter the price for each separately. The tariff stays as one item at the register — the system applies the correct price based on the player’s actual seat.
More on zone pricing → Zone-based pricing.
Step 4. Configure the expiration condition
Section titled “Step 4. Configure the expiration condition”This is the key step. The expiration condition determines when the tariff “closes” and the session ends.
For an hourly PC tariff, use one of two (or both):
| Condition | When to use |
|---|---|
| ”Expires after X hours of gaming time” | Standard for hourly: 1h, 2h, 3h — session closes when time runs out |
| ”Expires X hours from purchase” | For tariffs with a limited activation window (e.g. “purchased tariff valid for 24 hours”) |
For a simple day tariff, the first condition is enough. If you want to protect against “bought a tariff, didn’t show up for a week” — add the second: “expires 7 days from purchase.”
Step 5. Set the refund policy
Section titled “Step 5. Set the refund policy”The “Refund policy” field determines what happens to unused time if the client ends the session early.
Three options in the dropdown:
- “Keep remainder” — hours stay on the tariff; the client returns to finish. Recommended for day tariffs: no loss for the client, less friction.
- “Burn remainder” — unused time is voided. Suitable for special promotional tariffs or night unlimited.
- “Return to bonus balance” — the remainder is proportionally converted to a bonus balance. An intermediate option: the client doesn’t lose everything, but no real money is returned.
Step 6. Set the maximum bonus percentage
Section titled “Step 6. Set the maximum bonus percentage”The “Maximum bonus percentage” field sets what share of the tariff cost the client can pay from their bonus balance.
Typical values:
- Standard day tariff: 25–35%
- Night tariff with a low price: 0–15% (margin protection)
- Promotional tariff: 0%
Selection principle: the higher the tariff margin, the larger the bonus percentage you can allow without loss. More details → How to set the bonus percentage.
Step 7. Configure a schedule (if needed)
Section titled “Step 7. Configure a schedule (if needed)”If the tariff should only be sold during certain hours or days — in the “Sales policy” block, select a schedule.
Schedules are created separately: Tariffs → Schedules tab → “Add schedule.” Specify days of the week and the time window. IZI supports midnight crossovers: for a night window, simply enter 22:00–08:00.
If the tariff works around the clock without restrictions — no schedule is needed; leave the field empty or select the system Always schedule.
Details → Tariff schedules: night, morning, weekend.
Step 8. Save and verify
Section titled “Step 8. Save and verify”Click “Save.” The tariff appears in the list and becomes available at the register.
Verification checklist:
- Tariff visible at the register in the correct group section
- Name displays correctly (no stray characters, clear to the cashier)
- Price matches what was entered
- If a schedule is set — tariff only available during the correct hours
- If zone pricing is set — selecting a VIP-zone PC shows the VIP price
- Do a test sale to a technical account: buy the tariff → start a session → confirm time is deducting correctly
What’s next
Section titled “What’s next”After creating the base tariff — the typical next step is adding a night tariff or multipass. The standard starter grid is described in Tariff types in IZI.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to create the first tariff?
5–10 minutes for one tariff if you already know the price and conditions. Most fields have sensible defaults; the minimum required is just a name, price, and expiration condition.
Do I need a separate tariff for each zone?
No. One tariff supports different prices by zone via the 'Zone pricing' feature in the usage policy. Standard, Pro, and VIP zones get different amounts within a single tariff.
How do I make a tariff that only works at certain hours?
In the sales policy, select a schedule with the required time window. The tariff will only be visible at the register during those hours. Schedules are created separately and reused across multiple tariffs.
Can the tariff be changed after publishing?
Yes, the tariff card can be edited at any time. Changes apply to new sales; tariffs already purchased on client balances work under the conditions at the time of purchase.
What refund policy should I choose for a day tariff?
For a day hourly tariff, typically 'Keep remainder' — the client leaves early, remaining hours stay on the tariff and are used at the next visit. This reduces friction and complaints about early exit.
How do I restrict bonus payments for a specific tariff?
In the 'Maximum bonus percentage' field, set the required percentage — from 0 (real money only) to 100 (fully with bonuses). For promotional tariffs with low margins, set 0 or minimal.
