Tariffs & Pricing in IZI

A tariff in IZI is not just a price per hour. It’s a rule that defines who, when, at what price, and under what conditions gaming time is sold. Configure it once — the system runs automatically.

Each tariff includes several layers of configuration:

A tariff can expire on any condition (or a combination):

ConditionExample
Time since purchaseExpires 24 hours after activation
Gaming time2 hours of actual gaming time
Number of sessionsValid for 5 sessions
Fixed dateValid until 31 December

Multiple conditions can be combined — the tariff expires when the first one is reached.

Controls when and where the tariff is available for purchase:

  • Sales schedule — the tariff is sold only during specified hours (e.g. night tariff from 23:00 to 07:00)
  • Sales channels — CRM cashier, kiosk, mobile app

One tariff can have multiple sales policies for different windows or channels.

Defines how the tariff is used after purchase:

  • Start schedule — when a session under this tariff can begin
  • Additional completion window — the player can finish even if the main schedule has ended
  • Zone-based pricing — one tariff, but the VIP zone costs more than standard

What happens to unused time when a session is ended manually:

  • Preserve remainder — time stays on the tariff, usable later
  • Burn remainder — unused time is cancelled
  • Optionally: convert remainder to bonus balance (proportionally)

Schedules are reusable time windows. Create once, apply across tariffs, discounts, screensavers, and banners.

Each schedule defines:

  • Days of the week
  • Time intervals (cross-midnight transitions supported)
  • Specific inclusion/exclusion dates (holidays, promotions)
  • Active period (from/to)

The built-in Always schedule cannot be edited and is always active.

Tariff categories group tariffs for display in the interface — e.g. ‘Daytime’, ‘Night’, ‘Student’.

Discounts apply automatically by rule:

  • Which tariffs or categories the discount covers
  • Which client groups receive the discount (or everyone)
  • Percentage reduction (0–100%)

Example: the student group gets a 20% discount on all daytime tariffs on weekdays — configured with three parameters, runs without manual administrator involvement.

Each tariff can limit how much of its price a player can pay from their bonus balance. This protects revenue: bonuses incentivise visits but don’t fully replace real money.

Frequently asked questions

How is a tariff in IZI different from a simple hourly price?

A tariff is a set of rules: who can buy it (client group), when it can be bought (sales schedule), what the price is per hall zone, what happens to unused time when a session ends (preserve or burn), and what percentage can be paid with bonus balance. One tariff can cover a night audience, a daytime audience, and VIP — without any manual intervention from the administrator.

How do I set up a night tariff that can't be purchased during the day?

Create a sales schedule with an interval such as 23:00–07:00 and attach it to the tariff's sales policy. After that, the tariff is visible at the cashier and in the app only during those hours — it's automatically unavailable during daytime. Schedules are reusable across other tariffs and settings.

Can the VIP zone cost more than the standard zone within one tariff?

Yes. The tariff's usage policy supports zone-based pricing: different amounts are set per zone for a single tariff. A player buys 'Daytime 2h' and sits in VIP — pays the VIP price; sits in standard — pays the standard price. One tariff, different prices, no duplicated configuration.

What happens to paid time when a player leaves early?

This is controlled by the tariff's return policy. Three options: preserve the remainder (the player can return and continue), burn the remainder (unused time is cancelled), or convert the remainder to bonus balance proportionally. Each tariff is configured independently — for example, an unlimited night tariff burns the remainder while a daytime tariff preserves it.

How do I create a tariff that expires a set number of days after purchase?

The 'Time since purchase' expiration condition sets a window in hours or days from the moment of activation. The tariff closes when that window passes regardless of how many gaming hours were used. Conditions can be combined: the tariff closes on whichever comes first — 24 hours from purchase or 3 sessions used.

How many tariffs does a typical club need?

A typical grid has 5–10 tariffs: daytime, night, weekend, student, VIP package, multipass for several hours. Clubs with multiple zones or active promotions may have 15–20. IZI doesn't limit the number of tariffs, but the more there are, the more important it is to organise categories clearly for cashier convenience.

How do I set up a discount for students or loyal clients?

Create a client group (e.g. 'Students'), then add a discount: select the tariff category ('Daytime'), the group ('Students'), and the discount percentage. The system applies it automatically when a tariff is activated for a client in that group — the administrator enters nothing manually.

Can I block a tariff from being paid with bonus credits?

Yes. The maximum bonus payment percentage is set per tariff: from 0% (bonus not accepted) to 100% (tariff fully payable with bonus). Standard practice is 25–35% for gaming tariffs to keep real money flowing per session while maintaining an active bonus programme.

What is the Always schedule and can it be deleted?

Always is a built-in IZI system schedule meaning 'always active' — no day or time restrictions. It cannot be edited or deleted. Used for tariffs that are sold around the clock without a sales schedule.

How do I set up a tariff that only works on weekends?

Create a schedule with days 'Sat–Sun' and attach it to the tariff's sales policy. On weekdays, this tariff won't appear at the cashier. If you need a tariff for a specific date — a holiday or tournament — add that date as an exception or a separate interval in the schedule.

Can I sell a tariff through the mobile app but not at the cashier?

Yes. Sales channels are configured in the sales policy: CRM cashier, kiosk, mobile app — any combination can be enabled. Useful for online tariffs that players buy in advance from home, or for limiting the kiosk to specific packages only.

How do I see which tariff generates the most revenue?

In the shift analytics and transaction reports, you can filter by tariff and see total revenue for a period. This shows which tariffs drive the bulk of revenue and which ones are dead weight worth removing or restructuring.
