Search in IZI CRM Tables and Lists

Published: · IZI Team

The search bar is a fast way to find a specific record in a table without scrolling through hundreds of rows. It works by text match: type part of a name, phone, or title — the system shows matches.

Search filters visible table rows in real time: as you type, the list narrows. This is faster than filters for pinpointing a known value — no need to open the filter panel and configure conditions.

  • Clients — search by name, phone, email
  • Tariffs — search by tariff name
  • Products / bar — search by item name
  • Staff — find an employee by name
  • Transactions — in some sections, search by transaction ID or client name
  • Zones and devices — search by PC or zone name
  1. Find the search bar above the table — usually a magnifying glass icon or “Search…” placeholder
  2. Start typing. The table updates after each character — no need to press Enter
  3. Enter at least 2–3 characters for precise results: searching “A” alone returns too many matches
  4. To clear the search — empty the field (the ”×” button or Delete). The table returns to the full list

Search is especially useful for the admin at the front desk: a client says their name — find them instantly, start the session. Or the client recites the last 4 digits of their phone — type them in and get the account immediately.

For owners, search helps with tariffs and products: when the catalog has grown to 30+ items, scrolling takes time — faster to search by keyword.

  • Search only works on text fields — you can’t search by amount range or date through the search bar
  • Some sections have no search bar — only filters
  • Search doesn’t persist: clears on page refresh
  • If both search and filters are active — only rows matching both conditions are shown

Frequently asked questions

Search doesn't find a client even though they definitely exist — why?

Check: are you in the right club? Use the club switcher in the top menu. Search works within a single club. Also make sure no active filters are hiding the client.

Can I search by part of a phone number — for example, the last 4 digits?

Yes, client search works by substring. Enter any part of the number — the system shows all clients whose phone contains that sequence of digits.

Is search case-sensitive?

No, search is case-insensitive. 'IVAN' and 'ivan' return the same results.

How do I find a transaction if I only remember the approximate amount?

The search bar searches by text, not by range. To search by amount, use filters — there you can set a 'from ... to ...' range.
