Seasonal campaign calendar for a computer club

Planning promotions ahead is easier than inventing them at the last minute. Below is a year-long framework with specific mechanics for each period.

January — February: winter break and reactivation

Section titled “January — February: winter break and reactivation”

January 1–8 — New Year’s holidays Mechanic: elevated deposit bonus — baseline × 1.5–2. Best time of year: clients are free, money from the holidays is still fresh. Announce: 5 days ahead in Telegram and Instagram.

February 14 — Valentine’s Day Mechanic: “Couple” tariff — two adjacent seats at standard × 1.7 (~15% discount). Audience: couples aged 18–25. Announce: 7 days ahead with a “unique date” angle.

Spring break (typically third week of March) Mechanic: daytime hours 10:00–15:00 at the night tariff price. Fills dead time. Announce: 3–4 days ahead.

Low season — April Mechanic: tournament with a prize pool. April is a good time for the first or second tournament of the year: less competition with holidays, clients aren’t tired of promotions.

May holidays Mechanic: multipass with 10–15% discount only during holiday days. Locks clients in for future visits.

Last school bell / graduation period (late May — early June) Mechanic: “Student” offer — 10–15% discount with student ID through end of month. Audience: 14–20 year olds — your core demographic.

Summer break — main season Mechanic: multi-tier deposit bonus. Basic ladder: tier 1 = baseline × 1.2 at 4–5%, tier 2 = baseline × 2 at 8–10%. Clients top up more — get more bonuses.

Esports season (August) Mechanic: tournament series every two weeks. Prizes: free hours, top 3 earn “Club Champion” title with a post in the channel.

September 1 — season start Mechanic: “Study pack” multipass — hour bundle at reduced price. Angle: “cheaper than paying each time.” Announce: August 25–31 while clients are still in “summer mode.”

Halloween (October 31) Mechanic: themed evening with costume contest. Prize — free hours or deposit bonus. Instagram content generates itself.

November — club anniversary (if applicable) Mechanic: elevated bonus for 1 day + channel giveaway. One of the most effective communication occasions.

December 1–20 — pre-holiday promo Mechanic: “Gift Balance” — top up threshold = get a gift certificate for a friend worth fixed amount. Works well as a New Year’s gift.

December 25–31 — final push Mechanic: New Year’s tournament with the biggest prize pool of the year. Announce 2 weeks ahead, results on the last days of December.

Copy the table to your working document. At the start of each month:

  1. Check what promotion is planned
  2. Substitute real numbers for the parametric placeholders
  3. Announce at least 3–5 days ahead in Telegram and Instagram

Frequently asked questions

How many promotions to run per month?

Optimally 1–2 per month. More — clients stop responding (promotion fatigue effect). Less — the communication rhythm is lost. One big holiday promotion + one 'technical' weekday one for filling off-peak hours.

How to measure a seasonal promotion's effectiveness?

Three metrics: visit increase during promotion days vs comparable period without promotion, average check during promotion period, number of new clients. All viewable in IZI CRM by comparing date ranges.

What to do if a promotion brought no results?

Check three things: was the promotion announced at least 3 days ahead in Telegram and Instagram, was the promotion condition simple (one action = one benefit), was the threshold achievable for your average client. If any answer is 'no' — that's the problem.

Do I need to coordinate promotions with IZI if I'm a club operator?

Marketing promotions and tariff discounts are entirely at the operator's discretion. Deposit bonuses are configured in IZI CRM by the club admin. There are no restrictions on running your own promotions.
