Starting a Paid Session

Published: · IZI Team

In the Hall view, find a device tile with Free status (green). Click it.

If all devices show Active or On Hold — either extend an existing session or wait for one to free up.

In the device action menu, click Start session.

Search for the client by phone number or name. If found — select their profile. The tariff list will show their applicable group discounts if any.

For a walk-in guest with no account — skip this step and proceed. The session records as a guest.

To register a new client on the spot — click Register client, fill in name and phone, then return to session start.

The tariff list shows all tariffs with prices configured for this device’s zone, available during the current time slot.

Select the tariff. The price displays next to it.

Choose how the client is paying:

  • Cash — enter the amount received; CRM calculates change
  • Card — process on the terminal, then confirm in CRM
  • Balance — deducted from the client’s IZI balance
  • Bonus balance — deducted from bonus credit (up to the tariff’s max bonus % limit)

Confirm the payment.

The device tile turns blue and shows the session timer counting down. On the PC, IZI Boot receives the start command and the session begins.

If the PC doesn’t respond within 30 seconds — check its connectivity in the Hall view.

Frequently asked questions

Can I start a session for a guest without a registered account?

Yes. Skip the client identification step and proceed to tariff selection. The session is recorded as a guest session with no client attached.

What if the tariff I need isn't showing?

The tariff list is filtered by the device's zone and the current time. If a tariff is missing, it either has no price configured for this zone, or its schedule window is not active right now.

Can I start a session while there's already an active session on that PC?

No. End or transfer the existing session first. One session per device at a time.

What if the PC doesn't start the session after I confirm?

Check the device status — if it shows Offline, IZI Boot is not responding. The session start command is queued and will apply when the PC reconnects. Restart IZI Boot if the PC is on.
