End Session Actions

Sessions end in two ways: naturally (the tariff time runs out) or manually (admin or player ends it early). Both paths lock the PC and write the session record — but the manual path has additional options depending on the tariff’s refund policy.

Natural expiry

When the tariff timer hits zero:

1. IZI Boot receives the automatic end command
2. The PC transitions to screensaver mode
3. The session record is written with the full duration
4. If the tariff has a warning threshold configured — the player received a warning before expiry

No admin action required. The PC becomes available for the next session automatically.

Manual end by admin

In the Hall view, click the device card → End session.

A dialog appears showing:

• Remaining time on the tariff
• Refund policy that applies (based on the tariff configuration)
• Option to add a note (optional)

Confirm to end. IZI Boot locks the PC, the session is recorded with the actual duration used.

Refund policy outcomes:

• Keep balance — unused time remains on the client’s tariff for future use
• Convert to bonus — unused fraction converts to bonus balance
• Burn — unused time is cancelled, no credit

Session end in the session history

Every ended session appears in:

• The client’s profile → Session history
• Analytics → Sessions
• The shift’s Z-report (revenue attributed to the shift)

What to check after ending a session

• Confirm the PC shows as Free in the Hall view
• If the client is leaving — ensure their balance is settled (no pending bar orders or unpaid balance)
• If the client wants to continue on another PC — use Transfer session instead of ending and restarting
