How to read the cash reconciliation section
Section titled “How to read the cash reconciliation section”Opening balance: 500+ Cash sales: 2,400− Expenses recorded: 150= Expected in drawer: 2,750 Actual count: 2,750 Discrepancy: 0 ← targetA non-zero discrepancy means the physical count didn’t match. The Z-report records both numbers — the admin should add a note explaining the reason when closing.
Generating the Z-report
Section titled “Generating the Z-report”The Z-report generates automatically when you close the shift: Shifts → Close shift → enter cash count → Close.
The report is immediately available in Analytics → Shifts and can be exported or printed.

Section titled “See also”Frequently asked questions
Can I reopen a closed shift?
No. Once the Z-report is generated and the shift closes, it cannot be reopened. If you need to correct a discrepancy, add a note in the next shift's opening or contact your manager.
Is the Z-report stored permanently in IZI?
Yes. All Z-reports are accessible in Analytics → Shifts indefinitely. You can filter by date, admin, or club.
What does a zero discrepancy mean?
The physical cash count exactly matched what IZI calculated should be in the drawer. This is the target outcome for every shift.
