Products Overview

Published: · Updated: (12 days ago)· IZI Team

Products are the items sold at your club’s bar or front counter — food, drinks, merchandise, and anything else you ring up outside of gaming time. In IZI CRM each product carries a price, an optional stock threshold, and a set of sales channels that control which interfaces display it. Staff see them when composing a bar order; players see the ones you expose through the mobile app or kiosk.

Enable Track Minimum Stock on any product to activate inventory monitoring:

  • Minimum stock — the quantity threshold that triggers a Low Stock warning banner in the product list.
  • Current stock — updated automatically: decreases on each sale, increases on warehouse receipts or adjustments.

Use the Low Stock filter toggle at the top of the product list to instantly surface every item that needs restocking — useful at shift start or before a busy weekend.

Categories keep your catalog navigable for staff and match the menu groupings players see in the app. Create and rename categories in the Product Categories sub-section. A product must belong to exactly one category.

Discount rules and promotional offers are configured separately in the Discounts and Promotions sub-sections and can be applied to products at checkout. See Automations overview for rule-based triggers.

When a product is discontinued, archive it instead of deleting it. Archived products:

  • disappear from the active product list and all sales flows,
  • cannot be added to new bar orders,
  • retain their full sales and stock history for reporting.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Product in IZI CRM?

A Product is any item sold at the bar or front counter — food, drinks, merchandise, or other goods. Each product has a price, optional stock tracking, and configurable sales channels.

How do I enable stock tracking for a product?

Open the product form, enable the Track Minimum Stock toggle, and set a minimum threshold. IZI will show a Low Stock warning when the current quantity drops to or below that threshold.

How is current stock updated?

Stock decreases automatically with each sale and increases when you process warehouse operations such as receiving or adjusting inventory.

What are Sales Channels?

Sales channels define which interfaces display a product: the CRM (staff-side), the mobile app (player-facing), or a kiosk terminal. You can enable any combination per product.

What happens to archived products?

Archived products are hidden from the active list and cannot be sold. Their order history and stock records are preserved for reporting purposes.

Can I group products into categories?

Yes. Every product belongs to a category. Manage categories in the Product Categories sub-section to keep the catalog organized for both staff and players.
