Refunds in IZI CRM
Section titled “Refunds in IZI CRM”A refund in IZI CRM cancels a completed transaction and credits the full or partial amount back to the player’s in-club balance. This is useful for correcting billing errors, reversing accidental charges, or accommodating a player who left early. The refund creates a new reverse transaction in the log, so your shift report and audit trail stay accurate. Both full and partial refunds are supported — for a partial refund, simply enter an amount smaller than the original transaction total.
Step 1. Open Transactions
Section titled “Step 1. Open Transactions”Navigate to the Transactions section in the left sidebar of IZI CRM.
Step 2. Financial operations → Cancel transaction
Section titled “Step 2. Financial operations → Cancel transaction”Click Financial operations and select Cancel transaction from the dropdown.
Step 3. Select the player
Section titled “Step 3. Select the player”In the Player* field, search for and select the customer whose transaction you want to reverse.
Step 4. Select the transaction
Section titled “Step 4. Select the transaction”In the Transaction* field, choose the specific transaction to cancel. The list shows completed transactions for that player.
Step 5. Enter the refund amount
Section titled “Step 5. Enter the refund amount”In the Amount to refund to balance* field, enter the amount to return.
- Full refund — enter the exact transaction total.
- Partial refund — enter any amount less than the total; the difference remains as a completed charge.
Step 6. Add a comment
Section titled “Step 6. Add a comment”Fill in the required Comment* field with the reason for the refund (for example, “early session end” or “wrong tariff applied”). You can also add Tags to make the entry easier to filter later.
Step 7. Confirm
Section titled “Step 7. Confirm”Click Cancel transaction. The funds are immediately credited to the player’s balance, and a refund transaction appears in the log linked to the original.
Result: the player’s balance is topped up, and the original transaction is marked as cancelled in the transaction history.
Common scenarios

Frequently asked questions
What does a refund do in IZI CRM?
It cancels a previously completed transaction and credits the amount back to the player's balance. The original transaction is marked as cancelled, and a new refund transaction appears in the log.
Can I issue a partial refund?
Yes. In the Amount to refund field, enter any value less than the original transaction total. The remainder stays as a completed charge.
Why is the Cancel Transaction button unavailable?
The transaction must be in a paid status and your staff role must have refund permissions enabled. Check role settings under Organization → Roles.
Does a refund return funds to cash or to the balance?
Funds return to the player's in-club balance, not to an external payment method. The player can spend the balance on their next visit.
